I’m ready for #AllTheFall things, how about you? It’s still too hot and humid where we live, but I’m imagining cool breezes, warm drinks, open windows and sweatshirt weather.
I went “window shopping” and wanted to share some of the items I’ve been eyeing online. There’s a lot of copper and black + white buffalo check and I’m digging it!

Here are some of my favorite fall finds and my tips on how to use:
Home Decor Fall Finds
Rag Tie Banner | Neutral or Black Check Pillows with Pom Pom Fringe | Copper Coasters | Black Two Tier Hanging Basket | Pumpkins Buffalo Plaid |Fall Print | Thankful Grateful Blessed Pillow | Rustic Twig Wreath | Pumpkin Patch Garden Flag | Small White Vase Set | Buffalo Check Welcome Mat | White Pumpkins
Simple updates in neutrals are a great way to decorate for fall without getting out the bright orange pumpkins. Change out a couple pillows; these checked pillows are a fantastic deal. A simple wreath and welcome mat can make a big difference as you transition from summer to fall. Scatter around pumpkins in white or muted greens and blues. I’ve seen some in ticking fabric and love these in black and white buffalo check. If you hit the dollar store at the right time, sometimes you can find pumpkins there and just paint them with chalk paint, like I did here. And kids love to help!
Apple picking has been on my mind, and this two-tier basket would be a gorgeous way to display and store fruit in the kitchen, or for a party. Caramel apple bar, anyone?
I may try to make the rag tie banner. If you’re not a crafter, this is certainly an inexpensive option. It looks like neutral and black ribbons tied to jute twine. You could hang over a buffet or on your mantel for a subtle fall look. Easy peasy!
Gather sticks (yes, from the yard!) and arrange in this trio of white farmhouse vases or use a few sprigs of dried flowers, a couple stems of pomegranate berries or sprays of leaves. We made a gratitude tree one year using simple sticks and these vases would be an adorable grouping for your Thanksgiving table. This trio could transition with you into any season– for winter, switch to winter berries, boxwood or evergreen clippings. In spring and summer, show off your brightly cut flowers from your yard– hydrangeas would be stunning.
Fall Outing Finds
Yeti Mug | Initial Tote, Black and White | Picnic Blanket Water Resistant Tote | Portable Smore Maker
I started thinking about how much fun it would be to plan simple outings for fall– maybe a picnic in one of your favorite local spots. Make it a family outing, or even a date night! This black and white plaid blanket caught my eye– it’s water resistant and folds up nicely with a handle.
Pack your portable s’more maker in this simple but stylish black and white initial tote— no campfire or electricity required! Your picnic guests will be so impressed.
Check out this Yeti mug— take it along with spiked cider or your favorite coffee. Yum!
Cozy Up! Finds
Flameless Candles | Little Book of Hygge | Cozy Throw
Cool weather = cozy! I bought similar flameless candles this summer and love them! Don’t get me wrong, I love a real beeswax candle (here’s the one I’m burning now), but these are worry free. Especially if you have littles. I can see these flickering in a faux fireplace, on an outdoor table, or on the mantel. Instant ambiance.
And don’t forget the cuddly throw and a book. Have you read this one on hygge? I loved reading about the Danish culture and their lifestyle. Here’s a hint: hot drinks are the #1 thing Danes associate with hygge. Fall is all about the hygge– snuggle in and read up!
